About CJ

I founded Early July after a decade of hands-on experience navigating the creative and audiovisual world. I've had a passion for crafting stories and artistic expression since I was young, so I decided to study Broadcast & Digital Journalism at Syracuse University. The most important thing I learned as a journalist was to tell it like it is. A story that is clear and true to its core is what compels people to want more.

After working in New York City at a major news outlet, I decided to leave the States and move to Spain in 2012. My goal was simple, I wanted to go on a journey to find myself through art. It's been a wild ride! My time living here in Europe has been filled with unforgettable experiences that have given me the opportunity to learn from and collaborate with creatives from all around the world. 

In the last 10 years I've gone from a lost foreigner trying to find his voice as a timid rapper and lackluster videographer to an accomplished musician and content creator working with international brands such as Spotify, Fly Emirates, Jameson Whiskey, and Pepe Jeans. I was able to achieve my dreams because I never stopped searching for the core of my own story. I pushed myself to learn the skills to produce and release content that was truly my voice.

Growing up and becoming an artist has been a simultaneous journey for me. I've worn the dusty shoes of a lost artist and walked enough miles to know that every story is made for the big screen with the right eye and creative mind. I'm happy to share what I've learned and I'm passionate about helping artists, personal brands, and companies accomplish what I was able to do. I look for what inspires the imagination and then I bring it to life by working alongside artists and brands to amplify their message.
